If you've read the series, do you remember how the lion plays a role?
In case you have no idea what this series is about
Series set-up (spoiler free)
Gwendolyn Shepherd is just a normal teenage girl who goes to school in London and likes celebrities and movies more than historical facts or schoolwork. Gwen is thankful that it is her cousin Charlotte (and not herself) who carries the family's time travel gene, and has to spend time learning to dance, fence, walk and talk so that she'll be able to blend into various time periods. Except, Gwen is the one who actually starts time traveling. All of a sudden everyone realizes they've made a huge mistake, and Gwen is thrust into a world and a secret time travel society that she knows nothing about.

You really want me to choose just one? That's just cruel. Fine, Antarctica, the Weddell Sea, 1914-1918. No, I'm not dodging the war; that's when my favorite expedition took place, :D. Discovering Greenland and meeting William Wallace come in a close second and third.
ReplyDeleteI'd go back and meet Leonardo da Vinci. Fascinating guy. It's crazy how so many of his inventions, which couldn't really be built at the time, have been constructed now and work!
ReplyDeleteI'm rather fond of my own era- I like being about to vote and wear pants thank you very much. (But Victorian England is pretty tempting, I'm a sucker for fancy dresses)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm ... I think I'd go to the future, instead of the past. I'd love to get a glimpse of what my children will be doing in the future so I can better prepare them now :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Nice giveaway! This is a great series. :)
ReplyDeleteI would go back to to Victorian England
ReplyDeleteOh I haven't read these, but I've heard good things! Time travel hmmm? Do I have to go BACK in time?? ;D
ReplyDeleteI have always, always, always wanted to read this series! I think it sounds amazing, and thank you so much for giving us this awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH LAUREN! Someone is going to be a very lucky winner:)
ReplyDeleteI would travel to the future!
ReplyDeleteI'm not entering because I already own all of these, but EVERYONE should read them. :) It's the cutest time travel series ever and Xemerius is adorably grumpy. That is all. :D
ReplyDeleteI love these books! : ) Did I introduce you to them ;) if I could travel anywhere in time...It would be Jane Austen's regency England. Specifically to Donwell Abbey. I want me some KNIGHTLEY! !!
ReplyDeleteI would go to the future to see if any of these dystopian books come true. Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI would go to europe in medeival times!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
Oooh what an awesome giveaway! I've heard many positive things about this series for a while now (including your reviews of it), so I've been very curious about reading it myself. Thanks to you and Macmillan for this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAnd I would time travel to Ancient Greece I think - on a temporary basis.
I'd go to the Library of Alexandria about a year before it was burned down and smuggle out a bunch of scrolls, then hide them somewhere safe to be "rediscovered" in our time.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to go to ancient Greece during the time when they had working plumbing. I need working toilets, please. Then. again, maybe I'll go to the future and hope for even better health care since it's now so very messed up. One can always hope...
ReplyDeleteTo when Queen Victoria reigned as queen. I'd love to meet her.
ReplyDeleteWhat a hard question! I don't think of want to go back in time. Too many things that might kill you. Animals, wars, diseases. I think I'd go to the future, but not too far ahead. Just far enough ahead that I can drive one of those flying cars they've been promising us since the 50's. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!!
I would travel either to the 1800's or 1600's France, would love to learn more about family history. Plus I just love the era's
ReplyDeleteI'd go to Victorian London!! Sounds so exciting.
ReplyDeleteWell that's a HARD question. I think I'd go hang with the Bohemians in Montmarte in turn of the century Paris. I hear they had some wild parties;)
ReplyDeleteTough question, I kind of like my modern technology :) I guess, I would love to visit the roaring 20's
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I would want to travel. I'm a chicken and every time period that I can think of seems more dangerous and lawless than modern times, lol.
ReplyDeleteI would go to the 1920s. Or maybe even go so far back and travel to ancient Greece to see the wide difference!
