Hi everyone!
I hope you're having a fantastic summer so far.
If you're in the USA, HAPPY Fourth of July this week. I hope there's watermelon and fireworks in your future.
After a 20 hour car trip, I'm on vacation.

After a 20 hour car trip, I'm on vacation.
Because I'm away on vacay* and don't have a lot of internet access, I'm taking the week off.
If you stop by, tell me what book you're reading right now.
(I'm reading through Cate Tiernan's Immortal Beloved series)
See you next week!
*Whenever someone tries to shorten vacation to vaca instead of vacay, I always think they're talking about cows.
Ha, I have a friend who always asks where I'm taking my cow whenever I shorten it to vaca. :P Hope you enjoy your vacation!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your vacation Lauren!!! Looking forward to seeing what you think of Immortal Beloved. I'm reading Indelible by Dawn Metcalf this week and I have high hopes for it. *fingers crossed*
ReplyDeleteHAVE A GREAT VACATION, MY FRIEND! I hope you'll get some great books read. I really need to read Immortal Beloved. My hairdresser, a family friend of ours, loves to read as well and it's one of her favorite series. I signed up for Summer Lovin' Read-a-thon and I'm starting Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter and after that I have about 5-6 books to choose from :-) See you next week indeed *hugs*
ReplyDeleteHope you're having fun! I'll be leaving for Orlando Wednesday for Universal Studios. I'm enjoying my 10 days off already. I'm currently finishing up Angelfall by Susan Ee and I'll be starting Moonbeam by Tim O'Rourke afterwards. Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteI totally don't get the "vaca/cow" connection. You'll have to explain sometime;)
ReplyDeleteHave a super fantastic VACAY!!!
Why would you say vaca and not vacay? vaca would be pronounced Vah-cah... no?
ReplyDeleteYes, vacation is here, everyone is taking the days of to enjoy it, and well this makes us all happy and puts us in a good mood. Personally I am happy to be reading a book I wanted for a while now but had no time to: The lonely places.
