New Books On My Shelves: BEA Edition

New Books On My Shelves: BEA Edition

I haven't done a mailbox post in a long time and wasn't going to do one for the books I got at BEA, but many have asked what I brought home. To answer your question, I took photos for you to see them. I'm not listing all of them out, because there are at least 60 and I ran out of time. But the photos should be fairly clear.

As I mentioned before, I didn't really know what BEA was all about last year, so if you've never gone and you're curious about what people can pick up at it, than this is a good overview. I actually didn't grab every single book that I passed - because I don't have a ton of room - so I could have picked up more. I also missed many giveaways because a lot of navigating BEA is figuring out which autograph signings or book drops to attend. Lots of activities go on concurrently, and you just can't do it all! You may see other posts where people got very different books. (Several of these are on NetGalley or Edelweiss too!)

Yes, all of these books were included in my registration and FREE from the amazing publishers represented. See my post HERE with photos of the expo floor. Mostly fall releases were given out, and I grabbed more YA books than anything else. A few I received at publishing events (mostly the non-YA and previously released titles).

My goal is to work through these books in order of publication date, though I'm sure I'll be skipping ahead on a few of them!

Summer releases: June - August 2013

Since I have a few of these through NG and Edelweiss (and the EXTREME GENEROSITY of some AMAZING friends:), I think I am most anxious to hear your thoughts on The Coldest Girl in Coldtown (gosh I love Holly Black) and This Song Will Save Your Life because you know me and music themed books (or me and music in general:)
