This week, I've been reading, reading, reading and neglecting my blog. But I promise that I'll be back soon! I'm totally immersed in Karen Marie Moning's Fever series, and I'm having trouble breaking out of the world to write reviews. At the recommendation of Keertana @ Ivy Book Bindings, I decided to indulge in the adult urban fantasy series straight through before January 8, when the MANY books I want to read this month start releasing. (Should I read Through The Ever Night or Just One Day first????)
I read several books over the holidays, including the fourth book in The Queen's Thief series and Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill, both of which I'll be talking about soon (along with a few more). And I'm determined to do an End of the Year Book Survey!
THANK YOU for making my reading and blogging experience richer!
(!!!!!! Because I don't think there were enough exclamation points in this post!!)
Oh hooray! I can't wait for your thoughts on the whole Queen's Thief series now that you're caught up!
ReplyDeleteOne word: LOVE. One of my favorite series ever! I will definitely be posting thoughts on the third and fourth books as well as the series as a whole!
DeleteUmm...read Through the Ever Night first! It's a quick read, so then you can savor Just One Day without worrying about the fate of Aria and Perry! ;) I also cannot WAIT to see your thoughts on ACoK! :D
ReplyDeleteThat's what I was thinking! Through the Ever Night will be less of a thinking/emotional book so I think I'll read first. And I loved A Conspiracy of Kings! Will definitely talk about it soon.
DeleteYou make me want to pick up the Fever books and finish the series! I may be a little bitty jealous! I love adult UF books when they're really good ones!
ReplyDeleteYou will love this series! Keep going.
DeleteOooh goodie! I really am looking forward to your End of the Year Book Survey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, THAT excited!! : ) I didn't even know such a thing existed, but I am excited for it now!
ReplyDeleteI always LOVE your enthusiasm! I hope I can get myself together enough to get it done, though. I have trouble picking favorites!
DeleteJust believe in yourself ;)
DeleteThis is why I have you in my life!
DeleteI'm so jealous of you and your current reading obsession!! I haven't indulged like that since my marathon reading of the entire VA series last year. I think I may be due one very soon...:)
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I think you know which of the two January 8 releases I want you to read first;)
I KNOW I KNOW! I don't want to rush either book, so I need to make sure I can take my time with each, whatever order I choose.
DeleteAND you SHOULD read a series straight through again. It is EXHILARATING though also mind numbing. I'm resolving to be pickier about the new series I pick up this year so that I can do them in larger chunks.
I think you'd enjoy the Fever series!
Looking forward to all your 2013 reviews!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jen! Yours too.
DeleteThrough The Ever Night for sure!!
ReplyDelete2012 was great, lets hope 2013 is just as great!! :)

Yes! I'm looking forward to a great year ahead. And I can't wait to read Through The Ever Night.
DeleteOh YAY for reading the Fever series! I LOVE it! And you have to read Just One Day, I read it yesterday and LOVED it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break!
BTW, I'm emailing you right now!
I cannot wait to get my hands on Just One Day!
Delete(I'll be emailing you back soon!)
