One year ago today, I wrote my very first blog post. Then I secretly released it to the world.
I can't believe all of the friends I've made, events I've attended, posts I've written and books I've read since then.
I NEVER expected blogging to be as AMAZING as it is.
I still can't believe I found a community of people who love books as much as I do.
Who read more than I do!
Who are willing to analyze books with me over endless emails and at all hours of the day and night.
Who have welcomed me with open arms.
I have YOU all to thank for that.

It does't hurt that you're all wonderful as well:) Happy blogoversary! *huge hugs*
ReplyDeleteOh oh oh, and a book I'm dying to read? Heheheee :D I think we can both agree that Allegient and The Retribution of Mara Dyer are at the top of our tbr list. I can't wait for The Dream Thieves either--dat endinggg!! There are LOTS of books I'm waiting for, but these are the first three that come to mind and I know I'll read them asap. Which is/are yours? :)
Happy Blogoversary! Congrats on reaching the 1 year mark!
ReplyDeleteIf there is a book that I am dying to read this fall it has to be 'The Moon and More' by Sarah Dessen. I love her books and this latest one I have yet to get my hands on !!

Happy Blogoversary Lauren!!! WOO HOO! I found your blog or you found mine only recently but I so enjoy visiting everyday, and I can't thank you enough for always making my day a little brighter with the thoughtful comments you leave on my blog. I hope you have plans to stay around for years to come (and maybe next year I'll actually get to meet you at BEA. Woot!) *hugs*
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Congratulations on your blogoversary, L! *throws confetti* *toots a kazoo*
ReplyDeleteIf I were up in MA right now I'd give you a giant HUG:) I'm so thankful I met you last year on Ash's blog because discussing/ fangirling over books with you has not only enhanced my own reading experience tenfold, I feel like I've made an incredible friend along the way:) This blogging thing is so rewarding, but a lot of work too, and I'm SO happy that you went for it one year ago today because this community is better for it. You're generous and funny and smart--you always make me think and look at what I have read in a more critical light. Your insight, paired with your ability to get those thoughts across to others through your writing, is perhaps what I love most about your blog. And I'm so incredibly happy that more and more readers are discovering this about you too:)
Ok, enough with the mushy! Congrats again (I'm toasting you with my cup of coffee) here's to many more years! xoxo
**When we meet one day will upgrade that toast to adult beverages ;)
Happy Blogoversary! I really love your blog and I enjoy reading your posts :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway, I'm excited to read Crown of Midnight by Sarah Maas since I loved Throne of Glass.

ReplyDeleteHas it been a year already!!? WOW. I just love that you started this blog. I think I almost love it more than mine or at least definitely AS much. You've taught me how to read in a much different way and I think it all started with your review of The Immortal Rules. I was like WHAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY THINK CRITICALLY WHEN THEY READ HMMM THAT'S SO INTERESTING WOWWW and now I even do that on occasion. :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, yay for your space on the internet. I hate that the summer has kept me from hanging out on it as much as I normally would but I love it here and I adore you and YAY for reading buddies. Can't wait til we have a big group party one day and sit around by the beach and talk about books for days. In my perfect near future, that actually happens.
xoxo Congratulations and here's to more!
Happy Blogoversary!!
